Would you like to facilitate constellations online but wonder if online constellations can be as meaningful as they are in person? My answer to this question is yes! Join us for an informal, experiential workshop to learn to use the whiteboard on Zoom.
The whiteboard offers a visual for the convergence of the many streams of energy that move through a constellation. Concepts that are not easily represented in a physical room with people can be illustrated in ways that have a strong impact. You can draw emotional, physical, and mental experiences (e.g., the weight of the world, 12 generations of addiction, or an ocean of sadness).
The good news is that you don’t need drawing experience. Do you like to doodle? I’ll show you how to make representations that are simple visuals. Stick figures are great, and if you tend to judge yourself for how you draw, you can bet that whoever is seeing it will find meaning. You can use your track pad, a mouse, an iPad, or a tablet.
Whether you want to facilitate group constellations, private constellations, or if you are a therapist who would like to add constellations to your practice, our world is online and may stay that way for a while.
Here’s what we’ll do in our informal workshop:
Our workshop will take place in my Zoom meeting room, and you will receive the Zoom link when you register for the conference. It’s preferable to join from a computer, so you can participate in playing with the whiteboard. If you use a phone to join the Zoom room you can’t draw on the whiteboard.
Here’s a comment from a recent workshop I offered:
“Katherine, thank you so so much for sharing your time and expertise with us today. Before all this online work I used a variety of methods to facilitate both individual and group constellations. I’ve really missed that way of helping my clients ‘dip in’ to the field and today you’ve blessed me with the way to continue helping them do that. Thanks more than you’ll ever know!” ~ Kathryn M
